What a wonderful 4th of July!!!

As promised here is a picture of the float entered into the Upper Keys Fourth of July parade by the Board of Realtors. We won the Governor’s Award for Best Business Float. We had a lot of help from area businesses and families to make this year’s entry a success. As you can see the theme was “Time to Buy” and it truly is a good time to buy a home in these islands we consider paradise.

Interest rates are holding steady, changes are coming into realization within the insurance industry in regards to premiums and there is promised relief from the Governor’s office regarding property taxes. There are quite a few homes available for purchase which makes this a buyer’s market.

The mid-week holiday brought quite a few visitors down for vacation and the Chamber of Commerce could not have asked for better weather. The seas were relatively calm, and the fireworks displays up and down the island chain went off without a hitch. Everyone had a great time, boating, cooking out and relaxing.
